How You'll Make An Impact

As a Production Scheduler, you will develop and maintain efficient daily and weekly production schedules for lubricant blending, filling, and packaging operations. You will collaborate with production, procurement, logistics, and other stakeholders to meet customer orders on time, ensure material availability, and optimize production resources while minimizing downtime and costs.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and issue short-term (daily/weekly) production schedules for blending and packaging.
  • Sequence production runs to optimize line efficiency, minimize changeovers, and meet customer delivery requirements, adjusting for urgent orders, supply disruptions, or equipment downtime.
  • Review JDE / MRP to ensure base oils, additives, and packaging materials are available for scheduled production.
  • Manage and execute raw material call-offs in alignment with the production plan to avoid stockouts or excess inventory.
  • Collaborate with supply chain planning, procurement, and warehouse teams to resolve material shortages and align plans with manpower and equipment capacity.
  • Monitor schedule adherence and escalate risks to the planning team or customer deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate scheduling records and track KPIs (schedule adherence, service levels, downtime impact).
  • Provide daily/weekly updates to operations and supply chain management; participate in cross-functional meetings to improve planning processes.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce excess inventory, improve accuracy, and increase service levels.
  • Support initiatives to streamline scheduling tools and practices; participate in site stock take activities.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in production scheduling, planning, or supply chain coordination (preferably in lubricants, chemicals, or FMCG).
  • Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or related field.
  • ERP/MRP proficiency (e.g., SAP, JD Edwards) for production scheduling.
  • Knowledge of supply chain principles (materials planning, inventory control, lead times).
  • Ability to analyze data (Excel/Power BI) and translate into actionable production plans.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; problem-solving for scheduling challenges.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization in a fast-paced environment; detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and resilient; proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Team-oriented with a proactive mindset for continuous process improvements.
Desirable Qualities
  • Background in lubricant or automotive-related activities or FMCG is a plus.
  • Understanding of production processes in lubricants (batch sequencing, blending, filling, packaging).
Benefits
  • Competitive remuneration: base salary plus 12% super + bonus incentive program and 20% annual leave loading.
  • Wellbeing: 2 paid wellness days per year and access to Employee Assistance Program.
  • Recognition programs: Annual ANZ Award Ceremony and quarterly Expertise Awards.
  • Global career opportunities, ongoing training and development, and access to leadership resources.
Additional Information
  • Applicants should submit a current resume and cover letter.
  • Pre-employment medical assessment and background checks may be required.
