Job Opportunity

We are seeking a part-time Maintenance Handyperson to join our team at Oaks The Entrance Waterfront Suites. As a Maintenance Handyperson, you will be responsible for maintaining the presentation of guest rooms and public areas, as well as carrying out repairs within the property.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake general repairs and maintenance as required;
  • Provide induction and supervision of external contractors;
  • Implement the preventative maintenance program for each property; and
  • Maintain daily work records and service schedules.

Working Hours and Contract

Hours of work may include Sunday to Monday, 6am-10pm. The contracted hours are 16 per week, with opportunities to work more hours.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous hands-on building maintenance experience;
  • Previous gardening experience;
  • A passion for delivering exceptional service;
  • Strong time management skills;
  • An excellent work-ethic and proven ability to work unsupervised;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Experience in pool maintenance is highly regarded.
