Remuneration on offer is over $130,000 including super and shift allowance. Overtime is available during peak season based on an afternoon shift from 2:30 pm to 10:30 pm Monday to Friday.

The Electrical Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining all plant and machinery in a safe working condition according to Australian Standards and legislative regulations.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Maintain equipment and machinery in a safe working condition.
  • Work with CMMS systems as required.
  • Provide and maintain records of time and materials utilised.
  • Adhere to safety, quality and food safety policies and procedures.
  • Monitor stock levels of parts held in the maintenance store.
  • Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures.
  • Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus and components using test equipment.
  • Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on all plant and equipment.

Requirements:

  • A-grade Electrical licence.
  • At least five years of maintenance trade experience.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • PLC knowledge for basic fault finding.
  • Ability to work from heights, in confined spaces and in hot/cold environments.
  • Strong customer service ethic and safety focus.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills.
