Senior Building Engineer

Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing business strategy and revenue growth plans for the Adelaide business to achieve organisational goals and agreed outcomes.
- Leading project delivery and team performance, ensuring excellence in resourcing, utilisation, and margin management.
- Mentoring and supporting junior engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Responsible for winning work, growing the Adelaide Buildings team, and achieving net revenue and backlog targets, with support from leaders and staff.
- Fostering collaboration across Business Centres with a focus on cross-selling nationally to consistently win new work with clients.
- Championing a high-performance culture focused on talent, productivity, and financial performance.
- Driving quality and timely delivery of projects that exceed client expectations.
- Assisting with business development initiatives, identifying and pursuing new project opportunities and nurturing long-term client partnerships.
- Representing the company in industry forums, client presentations, and strategic meetings to enhance market presence.
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Tertiary Engineering qualification.
- 12 years of senior-level experience in building services in the Adelaide market.
- Proven leadership skills and a track record of building high-performing teams.
- Strong commercial acumen and significant project delivery experience.
- Effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven experience in a design consultancy environment, with a strong track record of client engagement, relationship building, and project leadership.
