Job Description

Job Title: Strategic Operations Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day management of Support Services across Caboolture and Kilcoy Hospitals. The successful candidate will provide strategic, operational leadership and direction to ensure high standards of safety for staff, clients, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of a healthy workplace and values-driven culture throughout the hospital, contributing to a high-performing culture across Metro North Health.
  • Manage and coordinate compliance of Enterprise Bargaining Agreements, including consultation and negotiation with Union/s on issues covering change management, Enterprise Bargaining Agreements, and workload issues for Operational Services.
  • Drive the key strategic framework, policies, and processes necessary to ensure that budget management, financial policy, systems, and controls are met to ensure operational performance across Caboolture and Kilcoy Hospitals.
  • Ensure a robust complaints function where feedback and issues can be promptly and sensitively managed at a local level.
  • Support the health equity agenda and meet the intent of supporting the defined six actions that specifically meet the needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people within the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards (NSQHS).

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in strategic operations management and leadership.
  • Strong understanding of Enterprise Bargaining Agreements and change management.
  • Ability to drive key strategic framework, policies, and processes.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
