Salary: Up to $100,000 per annum + superannuation


Job Description:


As a Senior Financial Leader, you will be responsible for managing both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions while collaborating closely with senior management to provide strategic financial insights that shape our business's future.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Oversee AR and AP processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial transactions.
  • Prepare and review journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and financial statements, offering a comprehensive view of our company's financial performance.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop accurate financial forecasts and annual budgets.
  • Evaluate and maintain regulatory compliance with tax and financial regulations.
  • Drive process improvements for more efficient financial operations.
  • Provide in-depth financial analysis and insights that support strategic decisions and business development.
  • Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering a high-performing, collaborative environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years in finance roles with a focus on AR/AP and financial reporting.
  • Proficient in both Japanese and English (written and spoken), bridging communication between local and international teams.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret complex financial data and offer clear insights.
  • Proven leadership in team management and effective communication with senior management.
  • Attention to detail and thorough understanding of financial regulations.
  • Advanced Excel and MYOB experience.
