About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Imaging Specialist to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging services in our Nuclear Medicine and PET Team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting various Nuclear Medicine and PET examinations
- Maintaining imaging equipment through rigorous quality control procedures
- Ensuring all administrative and clinical tasks are completed to the highest standard
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree of Applied Science (Medical Radiation Technology) Nuclear Medicine or equivalent qualifications recognised by the accreditation board
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency for Medical Radiation Practitioner Registration in Nuclear Medicine Practice
- Possess or eligible for a radioactive substance licence for use of radioactive substances in nuclear medicine technology
- Good understanding of practical skills in Nuclear Medicine procedures and experience in complex problem solving and decision making
- Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills and excellent patient care skills
