The Role

We are looking for experienced Legal Assistants and Professional Services Personal Assistants and Secretaries who are looking to build a long-lasting and rewarding career within legal support. Our Legal Assistants are an integral part of our firm, assisting in the smooth running of our practice groups and ensuring our lawyers perform at the highest level.

This role will provide opportunities to learn on the job as well as a mix of learning opportunities tailored to you. Daily experiences, supportive challenges, team collaboration, mentors, and structured learning opportunities help you to expand your knowledge and reach your goals.

You will work full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Planning for and delivering high-quality, accurate work while managing deadlines and competing priorities.
  • Managing the billing process for your direct team including clients with specific billing requirements.
  • Organising national and international travel.
  • Assisting partners and lawyers with client and cost reporting requirements.
  • Managing Partners internal and external appointments with appropriate meeting lead times including travel and diary management.
  • Assisting with meeting preparation and the coordination of post-meeting actions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 18-months experience as a legal secretary or professional services secretary.
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Teams).
  • Impeccable attention to detail.
  • Experience in using legal billing systems and client management programs.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to think ahead.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise competing demands from multiple stakeholders.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
