About this Opportunity

We are seeking skilled and compassionate professionals to conduct disability assessments in Canberra. Assessments involve evaluating the support needs of individuals with disabilities, identifying barriers to employment, and providing recommendations for workplace modifications.

This role is designed for individuals who want to make a positive impact on people's lives while developing their skills and experience in the disability sector.

As a Disability Assessor, you will have the opportunity to work with diverse clients, conduct assessments on-site, and write comprehensive reports from home or your primary office.

You will be working independently, but as part of a team, to provide high-quality services to our clients.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the impact of injury and disability on employment, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work within strict timeframes.

Key Requirements:

  • Diploma or higher-level qualification
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in the disability sector
  • Autonomous, reliable, motivated, and organised
  • Strong interpersonal and rapport-building skills with a client-outcome focus
