Senior System Administrator Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior System Administrator to join our team in a defense-accredited environment.

  • This role involves partnering with solution architects and technical experts to design and implement cyber security solutions.
  • The successful candidate will work within a secure environment, applying their expertise across both Windows and Linux environments to minimise vulnerabilities and maximise the resiliency of critical systems.
  • Key responsibilities include implementing and configuring Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) solutions, as well as applying security hardening techniques to applications and infrastructure.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Ansible is essential for automating system administration tasks and security controls.
  • Responsibilities also include identifying and remedying security vulnerabilities using tools like Nessus, Qualys, or OpenVAS, producing clear documentation, and undertaking ad-hoc tasks outside core business hours.
