Role Overview

This specialist position plays a key role in claims management services, focused on delivering exceptional results to clients.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Strengthen Client Partnerships: Develop tailored engagement strategies to build deeper client relationships and foster consistent best-practice claims management.
  • Proactively Manage Claims: Oversee portfolios across all lines of business, ensuring decisions align with policy guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Turn Insights into Impact: Utilize data and expertise to identify trends, support new business opportunities, and inform product development.
  • Share Knowledge and Expertise: Deliver services such as training, audits, complex case consulting, and process improvements to enhance client capabilities.
  • Stay Ahead of Risk: Analyze claims and market data to identify emerging risks and opportunities, contributing to stronger risk management strategies.
  • Apply Technical Excellence: Ensure all assessments and claim adjudications are rigorous, consistent, and compliant with regulatory frameworks and legislative requirements.
  • Deliver Client-Focused Solutions: Develop and provide services aligned to client strategies, ensuring measurable impact.

The ideal candidate will possess significant technical expertise in life insurance claims, ideally across all retail and group insurance products in the Australia and New Zealand market. A minimum 5 years' experience in insurance/reinsurance claims assessment is required, with peer or industry recognition advantageous.
