Staff Specialist Psychiatrist/Consultant Psychiatrist

We are seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team in Child, Adolescent, and Youth Mental Health Services (CAYMHS) in the stunning region of South Coast New South Wales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To deliver specialist support across the district as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • To develop and implement detailed patient treatment plans to ensure timely management and effective handover processes.
  • To maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical records to optimize data collection.

Essential Selection Criteria:

  • Membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCPsych) or equivalent international qualification.
  • Eligibility for registration with the Medical Board of Australia and Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists.
  • Demonstrated experience working with mental health problems in Adult Mental Health.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
