The company is looking for an experienced Service Manager to join their client, an industry leader in sales, service, manufacture, and delivery of industrial compressors serving various sectors. As a Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing management, operational, and business development duties aimed at driving overall business success. Key tasks include:

  • Establishing KPIs to monitor team activity and drive performance improvement.
  • Recruiting, mentoring, and training staff to enhance their skills and workmanship.
  • Mentoring employees to foster continuous professional development and empower them to take ownership of their work.
  • Contributing to the recruitment process and collaborating with the Operations Manager to implement efficient systems and processes that bridge the gap between Operations and Service Departments.
  • Developing the yearly service strategic plan.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within the manufacturing and/or industrial sector.
  • Experience managing a team of Service technicians.
  • Previous interactions with senior stakeholders and C-suite levels.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Business acumen, including experience managing department P&Ls.
  • A proactive and motivated personality capable of leading by example.
