We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter/Service Technician to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality service outcomes
  • Diagnose, overhaul, repair, maintain and test diesel and electric-powered air compressors, including pneumatic controls, pipe work
  • Repair and maintenance of ancillary equipment
  • Maintain accurate records of services performed, with parts used and work completed
  • Utilize oxy, electric Arc, MIG, welding, hand fitting or machining processes to replace or repair faulty parts
  • Maintain a clean working area and vehicle
  • Identify potential future works and discuss with manager or service coordinator
  • Communicate effectively with clients to ensure knowledge of current works and potential future needs
  • Clearly identify all parts and equipment within a job
  • Adhere to Company and client's safety system, including permit to work
  • Identify any workplace safety issues and rectify/advise management
  • Maintain accurate timecards
