About the Role


We are seeking a highly skilled Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team at the Northern Land Council (NLC). As a key member of our Regional Development area, you will play a crucial role in overseeing project administration activities under the Aboriginal Land Rights Act (NT) 1976 (ALRA) and Native Title Act 1993 (Cth) (NTA).


As the successful candidate, you will have sound cross-cultural, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills, essential for effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders. You will have experience with standard financial practices, strong negotiation and problem-solving skills, and excel in written communication, producing high-quality submissions, business correspondence, and reports.


Key Responsibilities



  • Coordinating project administration activities under the ALRA and NTA.
  • Working collaboratively with a team of diverse professionals and Traditional Owners (TOs).
  • Developing and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • Preparing and submitting high-quality reports and business correspondence.

Requirements



  • Diploma-level tertiary qualifications or extensive relevant experience in a related industry or sector.
  • Minimum 2 years of practical experience coordinating and facilitating project administration.
  • Sound skills in the use of IT resources, including MS Office and Database Management systems.
  • Current C Class Drivers Licence and the ability and willingness to undertake remote travel in a manual 4WD vehicle or light aircraft.

What We Offer



  • A base salary of $110,763 per annum, plus 14.5% superannuation and salary sacrificing up to $15,900.
  • Other benefits under our Enterprise Agreement, including a district allowance, annual leave, personal leave, and paid Christmas close-down.
  • Relocation support provided for regional and interstate candidates.
