As a Design Operations Lead, your main objective will be to enhance and refine the design workflow at Tabcorp.

Key Responsibilities

This position will be crucial in commercializing the design and product development process through creativity, change management, and teamwork.

You will play a significant role in scaling the capabilities and expertise of the design team, ensuring the delivery of top-tier product experiences to our clients.

Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Establishing design standards and best practices.
  • Implementing agile design methodologies and pinpointing areas for process enhancement.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify inefficiencies in the design workflow and devising strategies to address them.
  • Contributing to the professional growth of the design team by helping to establish and maintain our Design Communities of Practice.
  • Defining metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of design operations.
  • Overseeing the use of design tools and software, ensuring they are current and meet the team's requirements.
  • Your expertise in design operations will be vital to the overall success of the design team, enabling them to operate more efficiently, effectively, and cohesively.

Qualifications

  • A flexible and collaborative approach.
  • Outstanding leadership abilities with the capacity to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven experience in external user experience and community engagement, such as speaking at meetups, conferences, or participating in Open Source initiatives.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities with a knack for innovative and creative thinking.
  • A background in design is preferred.
  • Familiarity with industry tools that support the design workflow.
  • An understanding of Agile methodologies.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and mentor design teams.
  • Several years of experience in design operations, including project delivery and team management.
