A property development company in North Sydney seeks an experienced Senior Financial Accountant to join their finance team on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity for a motivated and results-driven individual to play a pivotal role in financial and project accounting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee month-end close activities, including preparation of management reports, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets.
  • Track actuals against budget and deliver variance analysis with recommendations.
  • Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
  • Support project accounting through feasibility analysis, forecasting, and cost management.
  • Align project forecasts with general ledger actuals to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts, perform detailed analysis, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Senior Financial Accountant or similar role.
