About the Role

We're seeking a talented professional to lead our Games Unit at Screen Australia. As the successful candidate, you'll be responsible for managing our core Games funds and associated programs, working closely with our Content & Operations teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the assessment of funding applications and manage funded projects
  • Engage with game makers, interactive content creators, and industry professionals to ensure successful project delivery
  • Represent Screen Australia at various festivals, conferences, and panels around Australia and internationally
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, such as Game Design, Development, or relevant work experience
  • Extensive experience and a proven track record in interactive and game development
  • Comprehensive understanding of Australian and international games sectors
  • Strong ability to assess concepts, prototypes, and proposals
  • Capacity to make impactful decisions based on sound judgment
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Expertise in public speaking and representation
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to a collaborative team environment
