Lead Rural GP Training Initiatives

We are seeking a visionary leader to spearhead our rural general practitioner training models in Queensland. This role requires a seasoned professional with a passion for driving innovative healthcare solutions and improving rural health outcomes.

The successful candidate will lead our team to deliver high-quality training initiatives, manage end-to-end training processes, build strong relationships with stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement and project innovation to strengthen rural training delivery.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement innovative rural GP training models.
  • Manage hospital training, facility accreditation, and registrar placements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with rural stakeholders, registrars, supervisors, and practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement and project innovation to enhance rural training delivery.

Requirements:

  • Proven leadership experience in service delivery or program management.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, especially in rural or health settings.
  • Experience in project and change management.
  • Extensive knowledge of rural health or the ability to quickly develop expertise.
