Job Opportunity: Manager Rural Pathways & Generalist Training

Job Overview:

As a leader in rural healthcare, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative training models to enhance access to quality healthcare services in rural and remote communities.

  • Develop comprehensive strategies to promote high-quality outcomes in rural healthcare settings.
  • Oversee the delivery of end-to-end rural training processes, ensuring seamless integration with hospital training, facility accreditation, and registrar placements.
  • Establish strong relationships with stakeholders, registrars, supervisors, and practices to drive collaboration and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of professionals to deliver cutting-edge rural training initiatives, aligned with RACGP goals and objectives.
  • Design and manage strategic rural training plans, incorporating feedback from stakeholders and external partners.
  • Cultivate partnerships with external stakeholders to address complex health issues and drive positive change in rural healthcare outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in leadership roles within service delivery or program management contexts.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, particularly in rural or healthcare settings.
  • Strong project and change management capabilities.
  • Extensive knowledge of rural health, acquired through education, training, or practical experience.
