Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Support Worker to provide high-level personal care and support to a young, non-verbal boy in Oakhurst, NSW. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage in play-based activities that support sensory and emotional regulation.

About the Role:
  • Provide high-level personal care, including assistance with eating and toileting (nappy changing)
  • Engage in play-based activities that support sensory and emotional regulation
  • Offer routine and structure in a gentle, patient manner
  • Assist with community access and outings, where appropriate
Requirements:
  • A valid driver's license
  • Experience working with children with autism and/or non-verbal communication
  • An NDIS Worker Screening Check (or cleared Police Check) and Working With Children Check
