Overview
The Stantec Community Development division is looking for a seasoned Civil Engineer to join our team. This full-time, permanent position involves overseeing civil design and documentation for a range of urban, land, and subdivision initiatives within both public and private sectors, catering to a diverse regional clientele.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, coordination, and management of urban, land, and subdivision projects from initial feasibility to construction.
- Draft technical reports and specifications.
- Provide expert technical guidance to clients and support project execution.
- Oversee project management tasks, including scheduling and budget preparation.
- Facilitate collaboration among various disciplines on multidisciplinary projects.
- Conduct and manage site inspections.
- Enhance Stantec's civil engineering knowledge and skills in planning, design, and construction.
- Foster and maintain trusted relationships with key clients.
- Assist in business development and client relationship management to secure and deliver projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Proven experience in civil engineering design and project delivery, particularly in urban, land, and subdivision contexts.
- Strong understanding of contemporary civil engineering technologies, including design, modeling, and construction.
- Project management expertise.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in report writing.
