About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Enrolled Nurse to join our team at Healthscope. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering safe and high-quality nursing care to patients under the supervision of Registered Nurses.
Job Description:
- The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to patient-centered care and will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery.
- They will administer medications according to state law and organisation policy, while maintaining accurate records and contributing to a safe practice environment.
- This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe and researched-based standards of nursing care to individuals/groups under the direction and supervision of RNs
- Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs
- Act as a role model for safe practice
- Administer medications according to state law and organisation policy
Requirements:
- Current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA
- Authority to Work in Australia
- Working with Children check
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
- Commitment to Quality Patient Care
- Demonstrated time management & organisational skills with the ability to meet objectives/timelines
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience in an acute Orthopaedic, Surgical, Post-Natal, or Day Surgery Ward setting
