We are seeking a skilled electrical technician to join our service team.

The role involves working in a small team environment, undertaking scheduled service and reactive maintenance on wind turbines, and ensuring the safety of personnel, protecting the environment, and following work methods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake scheduled service and reactive maintenance on as required basis
  • Respond and attend site outside normal working hours to undertake reactive maintenance on a rostered basis
  • Maintain all vehicles and equipment in good clean condition
  • Operate HV and LV systems within the limits of training and authorisation
  • Ensure tasks are undertaken in a manner that ensures the safety of personnel, protects the environment, and work methods are followed at all times
  • Undertake site induction and requirements of the SMA (Service Maintenance Agreement)
Requirements
  • Electrical trade certificate
  • Full clean driving license
Competencies
  • Literate with PC & modern technologies to support day-to-day work
  • Able to read/interpret technical drawings to support fault-finding and/or maintenance activities
  • Motivation to learn new skills and thrive in a growing industry
  • Understanding of safety principles, willing to adhere to and drive safety compliance company-wide
  • Experience with HV/LV, hydraulics, and mechanical systems in a residential, commercial, and/or industrial environment
  • Proficient in the use of various hand tools
  • Strong communicational skills, ability to work in a small team
