Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the development of our product segment within the Australian construction industry.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of current distribution channels within the interior linings industry and how to create value within these channels. A good understanding of specification processes and strong ability to communicate at all levels within the commercial construction industry is essential.

About the Role:

  • This role involves developing and implementing strategic growth plans, market and product segmentation, supporting and developing sales & marketing plans, supply chain and technical support for our Knauf Mineral Fibre product range.
  • You will be responsible for defining distribution strategy, managing pricing and product positioning through current and future distribution channels.
  • Additionally, you will work closely with our sales and marketing teams to develop and implement agreed plans, coordinate with Knauf Ceiling Solutions and align evolving sales tools with our group.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Understand and map market segments to clearly identify current and future target opportunities.
  2. Define distribution strategy, manage pricing and product positioning through current and future distribution channels.
  3. Work with our sales and marketing teams to develop and implement agreed plans, coordinate with Knauf Ceiling Solutions and align evolving sales tools with our group.
  4. Provide ongoing training and support to our external and internal sales teams, ensuring we maintain a position within our overall market offering.
  5. Coordinate and work with our supply chain team and demand planners to ensure both inventory demands and growth plans complement each other.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience in the construction industry, specifically internal linings.
  • Strong working knowledge of distribution channels and awareness of how to create value within this segment.
  • Sales experience, including A&D specification exposure and construction process.
  • A team player who can also work independently, strong communicator with good PC skills.
