About This Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to review and support the ongoing development of appropriate credit policies for retail and business lending functions. This involves maintaining and updating the credit risk management framework and associated credit risk policies.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update the credit risk management framework and associated credit risk policies.
  • Develop and maintain reporting which supports the assessment of the effectiveness of the end-to-end lending processes.
  • Leverage the enterprise risk system to enhance the reporting of credit risk against the risk appetite and strategy of the organization.
  • Assist with committee planning activities, preparation of agendas, minute taking, and accurate recording keeping of Committee artefacts.
  • Deliver and review the Credit Assurance Plan across the credit life cycle.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience in risk management roles within Financial Services.
  • Ability to shape governance policies and standards that are clear to users and aligned to strategy.
  • Knowledge of relevant Financial Services sector standards.
  • Understanding and practical working knowledge of contemporary Compliance and Operational Risk Frameworks and systems.
  • Experience in data analysis and reporting.
  • Knowledge across multiple stages of the credit life cycle for a range of credit products.
