The primary objective of this role is to ensure that all operations are carried out in compliance with local regulations, industry best practices and internal policies.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the company's HSE management system by providing expert guidance and recommendations.
- Conduct site audits, inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop strategies for mitigation.
- Lead incident investigations and support root cause analysis to determine the underlying causes of incidents and implement corrective actions.
- Deliver HSE training and toolbox talks to employees and contractors to enhance their knowledge and skills in health, safety and environmental matters.
- Monitor compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and provide reports to management on any issues or concerns.
- Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate HSE risks and develop strategies for improving overall performance.
- Proven experience in an HSE advisory role, preferably in an Oil & Gas environment, with a strong understanding of national HSE regulations and standards.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, with a flexible approach to working hours and locations.
- Proficient in incident investigation and root cause analysis techniques, with a strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work a 19:9 rotation to site, with a willingness to travel and work in remote locations.
