Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Clearance Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for managing security clearance and vetting activities for employees, ensuring compliance with government requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and review personnel security clearances, maintaining accurate records and documentation in accordance with government regulations.
  • Contribute to the development and evolution of personnel security programs, ensuring alignment with internal policies and external customer security standards.
  • Generate and track security metrics, providing valuable insights to stakeholders for informed decision-making.
  • Monitor processes and drive improvements in efficiency and quality of our personnel security programs.
  • Interface regularly with stakeholders and government customers to support clearance activities.

A typical day for this role involves processing security clearances, travel notifications, and other related activities while ensuring adherence to protocols and procedures. You will identify opportunities to streamline processes and procedures, enhancing operational efficiency.

You will also dedicate time to creating comprehensive reports on security data and metrics, providing actionable insights to stakeholders. Additionally, you will offer guidance on straightforward security issues, leveraging your expertise to address concerns effectively.
