Job Title: Senior Security Clearance Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Security Clearance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for handling complex personal security clearance processes, ensuring that all requirements are met with the highest level of attention to detail.

This critical role involves assessing components of clearance cases, leveraging your experience in vetting, and managing a complex process while maintaining stringent quality controls on Personal Security Files (PSFs).

Your Key Responsibilities
  1. Process security clearances meticulously, adhering to the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) and best practices.
  2. Leverage electronic case management systems for efficient clearance processing.
  3. Offer advice on clearance outcomes while adeptly handling complex vetting cases and sensitivities.
Key Qualifications
  • A minimum Negative Vetting Level 1, with the opportunity to upgrade to Negative Vetting 2 as required.
  • Certificate IV in Government (Personnel Security Vetting).
  • Extensive vetting experience (essential) in Government or similar high-security environments.
