About the Role

As a Corporate Health and Safety Manager, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for our growing corporate organisation nationwide.

You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant workplace health and safety laws across all jurisdictions, as well as providing expert guidance on WHS matters to leaders and employees.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing trusted advice on WHS matters, taking into account relevant legal frameworks, policies, procedures, and the Hostplus enterprise agreement.
  • Maintaining systems and controls to ensure Hostplus complies with all relevant WHS laws across all jurisdictions.
  • Leading the WHS Committee, including conducting safety inspections, emergency evacuation drills, and training staff in safety-related roles.
  • Developing and facilitating safety education in consultation with the Organisational Development team.
  • Maintaining relevant policies, procedures, and training programs to support effective WHS practices across the business.
  • Reporting regularly to the Chief People Officer, including Board and Committee reports.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary package, including an estimated $140,000 - $170,000 per annum, depending on experience. Our benefits include:
