Job Overview

This is an intermediate role that bridges the gap between field experience and project management expertise. As an Electrical Works Supervisor, you will oversee small to medium-sized projects under the guidance of our experienced project managers.

Main Responsibilities
  • You will supervise and coordinate a team of technicians on various projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to project plans.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of project scope, requirements, and obligations, including pre-planning and reviewing project documents and specifications.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures, utilizing IT tools and adhering to WHSE business processes.
  • Oversee project finances, identifying opportunities for growth and creating additional revenue streams.
  • Nurture long-lasting client relationships through effective communication and risk management.
  • Develop and implement communication and risk management plans to keep stakeholders informed about project progress.
  • Predict and manage project labor and sales forecasts.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and mitigate scope creep by escalating issues as needed.
Requirements
  • 'Can Do' Attitude and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills, with a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
  • Able to motivate team members to achieve operational goals and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining sharp focus.
  • Strong organizational, negotiation, and presentation skills, with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Experience Requirements
  • Minimum 2+ years of post-apprenticeship experience in a relevant trade – Mandatory.
  • At least 1 year of leadership experience – Desirable.
