Transforming banking experiences for millions of users worldwide, you'll shape their financial lives and help them succeed. This pivotal role is critical in maintaining effective relationships with Retail suppliers and third parties.

You will be a Business Manager - Third Party Risk, supporting Retail teams in onboarding, managing, and monitoring suppliers and third parties to safeguard our customers and business.

This specialist position is integral to the Retail business's 1st Line of Defence, navigating policies and regulatory obligations while maximizing the value and effectiveness of these relationships.

You'll thrive in this high-visibility, high-impact position if you're a self-starter who streamlines processes and prioritizes customer safety and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Procure new suppliers and third parties aligning with procurement requirements, processes, and policies.
  • Establish and maintain supplier and third-party relationships.
  • Develop and implement supplier management frameworks and processes ensuring consistency, strong documentation, data quality, and efficiency.
  • Conduct contract audits and supplier controls, overseeing performance against contractual SLAs and obligations.
  • Manage contracts, including reviews and renewal activities (with Procurement).
  • Identify and assess supplier and third-party risks, coordinating with Retail and Operations teams to manage continuity risk.

Requirements

  • Understanding of key regulatory and compliance regimes associated with sourcing and supplier management.
  • Knowledge of retail banking systems and business processes.
  • 8+ years' experience in a Retail Banking/Financial Services or related environment.
  • Previous experience in a Supplier Risk, Vendor Management, or Procurement role.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
