About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a suitably experienced team player with an interest in gift implementation and governance, looking for a chance to play a pivotal role in supporting the implementation of gifts across ANU.

The successful candidate will be part of a small team that supports all aspects of gift services across ANU, including gift cultivation and acceptance, gift processing, and gift implementation. As a subject matter expert in this space, you will provide advice and operational support to a campus-wide client base, ensuring the University demonstrates both accountability and impact in its philanthropic endeavors.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have a skillset that demonstrates outstanding client service and stakeholder management experience. You will be flexible and happy to jump in and support your colleagues to get the job done. Experience in governance, project implementation, or senior administration is desirable but not critical to be the successful applicant.

The key attributes for the right person are a high level of care in your work, the ability to use initiative and work independently as well as being part of a stable and supportive team. You are an organized and effective team member, with an eye for detail. You are interested in the stories of the University, and you are both passionate and invested in sharing how philanthropy contributes to realizing the strategic aims of ANU.

About the Team

ANU Advancement provides leadership and support across the University in developing meaningful and sustainable relationships with ANU alumni, donors, and the broader community. We secure long-term philanthropic investment and ensure the strong management of existing philanthropic funds and accountability to the University's donors.
