About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Reporting Manager to join our Finance, Reporting & Control team at Cuscal. This is a key role that supports the Senior Manager, Financial Reporting & Control by overseeing the preparation, submission, and accuracy of all regulatory financial reporting across Cuscal.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversight of APR regulatory reports in accordance with Cuscal's requirements as an ADI;
  • Preparation of internal reporting for management to assess regulatory impact of decisions (e.g. ALCO committee reporting, Board committee papers specific to Prudential requirements);
  • Balance Sheet Management and forecasting for Regulatory Capital ratios;
  • Monitoring changes in regulatory requirements and assessing their impact on the bank's reporting framework and practices;
  • Collaboration with finance, risk management, and compliance teams for data necessary for reporting;
  • Development and implementation of policies and procedures to enhance the regulatory reporting process and ensure compliance;
  • Support for the Financial Controller in delivering the Group Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Plan Summary Statement;
  • Identification, measurement, and monitoring of limits under Prudential Standards;
Financial Analysis
  • Analysis for Finance and Risk teams on regulatory impacts of business decisions;
  • Detailed analyses of regulatory reports to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement;
Financial Control & Treasury
  • Review of daily Treasury control functions (P&L and Balance Sheet reviews, reconciliations);
  • Production of monthly, half-year, and year-end Board and Board Audit Committee reporting for Regulatory Reporting and Treasury;
Audit
  • Support for audits (APS 310 and Financial/Year-end) by providing necessary documentation and explanations;
  • Support for the Financial Controller in APS 310 issues management & resolution;
Requirements

To be successful in this position, you will have:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in regulatory reporting within the banking or financial services sector;
  • Experience producing financial result analysis for management;
  • Strong knowledge of risk management principles and practices (i.e. the '3 lines of defence');
  • Strong knowledge of Australian regulatory frameworks;
  • Extensive proficiency in financial reporting software and data analysis tools;
