We are seeking a geotechnical professional to join our team in Queensland.

About the Role

This role involves leading and overseeing geotechnical aspects as part of a project team, ensuring best practices are followed throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Plan and supervise site investigations, including borehole drilling, in-situ testing (SPT, CPT, pressuremeter, etc.), sampling, and monitoring
  • Perform geotechnical analyses, including slope stability, bearing capacity, settlement, liquefaction assessment, and seismic response
  • Design foundations (shallow and deep), earth retaining structures, ground improvement solutions, and pavements
  • Prepare high-quality technical reports, feasibility studies, design documents, and specifications

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Engineering Geology, or a closely related field (Master's preferred)
  • Chartered or Professional Engineer status (or eligibility) is highly desirable
  • Approximately 5-10 years of relevant geotechnical engineering experience, ideally in consulting, infrastructure, or construction projects

You will be able to demonstrate a great attitude to teamwork, collaboration, and communication. A willingness to grow and learn and deliver in industry-leading projects that meet client expectations.
