Senior/Associate Geotechnical Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in Queensland, Australia.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead and oversee geotechnical aspects as part of a project team, ensuring best practices are followed throughout the project lifecycle.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Leading and overseeing geotechnical aspects as part of a project team.
  • Scoping and delivering geotechnical projects or components, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control.
  • Planning and supervising site investigations, including borehole drilling, in-situ testing (SPT, CPT, pressuremeter, etc.), sampling, and monitoring.
  • Performing geotechnical analyses, including slope stability, bearing capacity, settlement, liquefaction assessment, and seismic response.
  • Designing foundations (shallow and deep), earth retaining structures, ground improvement solutions, and pavements.

  • Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Engineering Geology, or a closely related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Chartered or Professional Engineer status (or eligibility) is highly desirable.
  • Approximately 5-10 years of relevant geotechnical engineering experience, ideally in consulting, infrastructure, or construction projects.
