Amazon Conservation Experience

Join a transformative conservation adventure in the Amazon rainforest, where you will engage in projects to protect and restore the delicate balance of the ecosystem. The experience begins in Cusco, Peru, before embarking on a spectacular journey through the Amazon rainforest.

This immersive project combines theoretical knowledge with practical activities, providing participants with a comprehensive understanding of local ecosystems, conservation strategies, and cultural heritage. You will have the opportunity to engage in initiatives to combat deforestation, participate in training sessions, and contribute to community-based projects promoting sustainable development and environmental stewardship.

You will be staying in comfortable shared accommodation with fellow participants, including private rooms and basic amenities. Meals are provided, featuring local fare such as rice with sauce, vegetables, soups, and occasional meat dishes. Dietary restrictions are accommodated upon request.

The program includes airport pickup and transfer to the project site, project-related activities, and a premium support package with 24/7 assistance. Flights, visas (if applicable), vaccinations, travel insurance, and personal spending are not included in the program cost.

This is an entry-level volunteer position, welcoming individuals with no prior experience necessary. The seniority level required for this role is Entry-level volunteers welcome.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • No prior experience necessary. Open to all ages over 18 years old.
  • No special skills required.
  • Be able to stay away from home for 2 weeks minimum.
