Job Title: Enriching Student Outcomes Teacher

About the Role:

This role involves supporting students with diverse learning needs, providing personalized guidance and resources to foster academic success. As a Learning Enrichment Teacher, you will work closely with classroom teachers and support staff to implement tailored educational strategies that meet individual student requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Individualized Learning Plans: Create and review customized plans to cater to students' unique needs, ensuring they receive targeted support to excel academically.
  • Conduct Regular Assessments: Conduct diagnostic and standardized testing to monitor student progress, using data to inform instructional strategies and promote differentiation in a virtual environment.
  • Collaborate with Teachers and Support Staff: Work closely with educators to implement effective differentiation techniques and inclusive practices, promoting a supportive learning environment for all students.
  • Maintain Communication: Regularly update parents, guardians, and external specialists on student progress and development, ensuring a collaborative approach to student support and wellbeing.
  • Provide Direct Support: Offer targeted interventions and strategies to address academic, social, and emotional challenges faced by students across various grade levels (K-12).
  • Engage in Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with best practices in special education, distance learning, and learning enrichment strategies through ongoing training and professional growth.
  • Assist in NCCD Management: Contribute to the management of Nationally Consistent Collection Data on School Students with Disability (NCCD), ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.

Requirements:

  • Active Christian Faith: Possess an active and sincere commitment to Christian values.
  • Suitable Qualifications and Experience: Hold relevant qualifications or experience in administration, education, or a related field.
  • Excellent Organizational and Communication Skills: Demonstrate strong organizational skills and excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal.
  • Team Player with Can-Do Attitude: Showcase a positive attitude, ability to receive feedback, and willingness to be part of a collaborative team.
  • CURRENT Employee Working With Children Check: Possess a valid Employee Working With Children Check.
