Primary Care Specialist

Our organization seeks a dedicated and compassionate Primary Care Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team in Tamworth. As a key member, you will provide patient-centered care and make a positive impact on community health outcomes.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced General Practitioner to work collaboratively with Aboriginal Health Workers, nurses, and other allied health professionals. Your responsibilities will include diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions, maintaining accurate and confidential medical records, and ensuring culturally safe communication and engagement with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients.

Requirements:

Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with patients, staff, and the broader communityAbility to work as part of a multidisciplinary teamMust have a current Working with Children's Check and Police CheckPrevious experience working in Aboriginal health, rural, or remote healthcare is highly desirable but not essentialMust be able to work independently or without supervision
