Senior Administrator of Animal Welfare

We are seeking an experienced leader to oversee the Animal Ethics Administration team and provide expert guidance on policy, governance, and regulatory matters.
- Lead Team Management: Effectively manage a team to deliver robust processes for animal ethics applications and submissions.
- Expert Advice Provision: Offer high-quality guidance on policy, governance, and regulatory compliance to researchers and committees.
- Team Development: Foster a culture of service excellence and continuous improvement within your team.
- Strategic Relationships: Act as a trusted advisor to senior management and key stakeholders in the Animal Care and Use Program.
- You hold postgraduate qualifications in a relevant discipline and possess strong policy interpretation skills, with experience in managing complex, sensitive issues in a university or research environment.
- Leadership experience in fostering positive team environments, excellent policy and regulation interpretation skills, outstanding relationship management and communication abilities, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills are also desirable.
