Café Manager Role

Our business operates multiple cafes in Canberra, offering high-quality products and exceptional customer service. We prioritize staff development and career progression, ensuring that our team members can grow within the hospitality industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations, including staff supervision, inventory management, and maintaining a clean and presentable environment. They will also be expected to provide excellent customer service, handle cash transactions, and assist with events and catering services.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a management role
  • Strong knowledge of barista procedures and experience in fast-paced environments
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lead a team and maintain a positive work environment
Responsibilities:
  1. Supervise staff and ensure compliance with weekly rosters and punctuality standards
  2. Monitor and adjust service levels to optimize staff utilization
  3. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations
  4. Perform cash reconciliation and monitor variances
  5. Conduct pre-shift inspections and ensure staff presentation meets standards
