Occupational Therapist Role

A skilled and experienced Senior Occupational Therapist is sought to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our growing NDIS division, you will assess and provide intervention for clients aged 0-65 with various diagnoses and disabilities.

About the Position
  • Prescribe assistive technology equipment such as wheelchairs, power wheelchairs, scooters, commodes, hospital beds, and mobile hoists to enhance client independence.
  • Conduct assessments and recommend modifications like bathroom alterations, ramp installations, and other home improvements to meet client needs.
  • Deliver interventions including Supported Independent Living (SIL), sensory assessments, functional daily living skills, environmental risk assessments, and skill building to promote optimal outcomes.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in Assistive Technology (AT) and/or Complex Home Modifications (CHMs).
  • Strong assessment and intervention skills, including knowledge of disability support services.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Current registration with relevant professional bodies (e.g. AHPRA).
