We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Corporate Lawyer to join our Customer Markets Legal team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a collaborative and dynamic team, providing legal services and advice to support the strategic objectives of our business unit.
- Provide legal support for various matters, including sales and marketing campaigns, product development and innovation.
- Draft and negotiate complex commercial contracts.
- Act as a key representative of the company in transactional work, regulatory investigations and other initiatives.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Support the Group Counsel in ensuring the efficient operation of the Customer Markets Legal Team.
- Collaborate with business unit teams to provide training and guidance on compliance and innovation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Laws / Juris Doctor degree and admission to practice in Australia.
- Relevant experience at a well-regarded firm and/or in-house experience relevant to a senior legal role supporting a customer-facing business.
- Ability to lead business change in response to changes in the regulatory environment.
