About the Role

As a Financial Business Partner at Australian Terminals, you will play a critical role in supporting the company's financial planning and analysis functions. Reporting to the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager, you will be responsible for providing insightful information, analysis, reports, financial models, benchmarking, and recommendations to support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with stakeholders, including leadership, operational, and engineering teams, to provide financial analysis and support
  • Coordinate the annual budget and subsequent forecasts, including data preparation, report generation, data review, and presentation preparation
  • Develop and implement financial processes, procedures, and systems to support effective financial management
  • Monitor and track cost-saving initiatives and develop mechanisms to improve financial performance
  • Work closely with the FP&A Manager to achieve business objectives and drive financial growth

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess a relevant tertiary degree (Bachelor of Accounting or Business/Commerce) and CPA/CA qualification. You will have a solid understanding of financial and management accounting, month/year-end processes, annual business planning, rolling forecasting, and a positive attitude with a desire to learn and grow.
