Required skills and qualifications:

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with AHPRA
  • Completed Graduate Certificate in Diabetes Management and Education or equivalent experience
  • Credentialed Diabetes Educator (CDE) or eligible for CDE or willingness to obtain
  • Current Driver's Licence and willingness to use for work purpose travel
  • Effective communication skills – written, verbal and electronic. This includes a working knowledge of EMR, Office applications, Internet data retrieval and formal correspondence
  • Ability to organise and prioritise work
  • Commitment to professional development
