Women's Driver Training Initiative

We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our intensive driver training program. This unique opportunity is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge required to become a licensed truck driver.

The program will cover all aspects of heavy vehicle driving, including defensive driving techniques, vehicle maintenance, and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To service multiple customer sites and collect automotive waste in a safe and efficient manner
  • To drive a Pantech truck and transport waste to disposal/recycling facilities, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines
  • To perform loading and unloading duties, as well as manual handling tasks as required
  • To work autonomously and maintain high levels of customer service, ensuring a positive experience for clients
  • To maintain vehicle presentation and complete paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • A current unrestricted driver's licence for a minimum of 24 months
  • A clean driving history, with a minimum of 8 demerit points remaining
  • No prior experience as a heavy vehicle driver is required
  • A strong passion for working as part of a team, with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction
  • An excellent customer service ethic, with a commitment to providing exceptional experiences for clients
  • A resilient attitude, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities
