Business Support Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Business Support Officer to join our team. As a vital member of our operations, you will provide high-level administrative support ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our department.

  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally.
  • Offer comprehensive administrative support including managing requests, supporting specialist teams, and preparing various materials such as presentations, reports, and spreadsheets.
  • Handle day-to-day financial and purchasing tasks including processing invoices and managing supplies, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
  • Manage correspondence for senior staff, proactively responding to emails and calls, and escalating issues as required.
  • Support departmental teams with administrative and business needs, providing guidance and training as necessary.
  • Assist with reporting budget and procurement processes, analyzing data and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Help review and update resources and processes to improve efficiency and service delivery, collaborating with colleagues to ensure seamless support.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, fostering effective communication and partnerships.

Requirements:

  • Exceptional planning and organizing skills with the ability to work autonomously.
  • Proficiency in calendar and scheduling tools, with experience using Microsoft Office, SAP TRIM, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and negotiate effectively.
  • Advanced computer skills, with proficiency in database management, data analysis, and report writing.
  • Proven ability to achieve results with minimal supervision, even in high-volume environments.
  • Extremely high level of attention to detail, with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Reliability and adaptability to changing workloads and priorities, with flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Discretion with confidential information, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity.
  • Efficient data entry skills, with accuracy and speed.
  • Excellent punctuality and attendance, with a proven track record of meeting deadlines and commitments.
