About the Role

This full-time position requires the successful candidate to cover locum duties from December 2024, providing exceptional patient care and support to the nursing staff. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care, adhering to professional standards and hospital policies
  • Work collaboratively with the nursing staff to ensure seamless patient care
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with colleagues and management
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A current registration as a Midwife with the relevant state or territory health department
  • Relevant post-graduate qualifications and/or experience in midwifery leadership
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
