Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Transaction Advisory Services professional to join our team in Melbourne.

This exciting role offers the opportunity to work with a leading global brand on high-level transactions, providing valuable commercial insight and technical expertise.

As a Transaction Advisory Services expert, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing and participating in transaction engagements related to acquisitions by strategic corporate buyers and private equity investor groups.
  • Providing high-quality work to clients in corporate financial due diligence.
  • Analysing financial/operational results of targets through reviewing accounting records and conducting interviews with management.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, building trust between your team and the businesses we engage with.
  • Identifying key value drivers for clients, including financial, commercial, and operational insights.
  • Correlating due diligence findings with client valuations.
  • Assisting directors and partners on proposals and new business opportunities.
  • Aiding clients in key business decisions by offering valuable commercial insight and technical expertise.
  • Leading a team of senior associates and trainees on high-level engagements, including mentoring, training, and delegation.

Requirements include:

  • At least three years' experience in a transaction services or M&A role, with some experience in a leadership capacity.
  • Experience in building strong internal and external relationships.
  • The ability to achieve a high level of work, maintaining accuracy during busy periods.
  • A strong educational background, preferably with a completed CA, CFA (or equivalent).
