Job Role:
The Senior Structural Engineer will be responsible for structural analysis and review of concrete dams, spillways, and appurtenant structures. This includes conceptual to detailed design of dams and structural components of dams, inspection, investigation, and condition assessment of existing dams.
This role requires collaboration with specialists nationally and internationally to develop sustainable water solutions and mentor the next generation of engineers.
You will work on complex and high-impact projects across Australia, utilizing your expertise in structural design, including the preparation of design reports, design drawings, and specifications. You will also provide mentoring and support to junior engineers and technicians.
About This Role
- Undertake feasibility studies, design, construction, and asset management of dams
- Develop designs that meet client needs while adhering to relevant industry standards and regulations
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to achieve project goals
- Lead and mentor junior engineers and technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will contribute to a variety of tasks, including:
- Structural analysis and review of concrete dams, spillways, and appurtenant structures
- Conceptual to detailed design of dams and structural components of dams
- Inspection, investigation, and condition assessment of existing dams
